Perfected in 1909 the Henry Atkin “Spring Opener” uses the classic “Beesley” patent self opening mechanism as used by James Purdey since 1880.
Henry Atkin improved on this famous patent buy the addition of Holland & Holland “Southgate” ejector work. This simplified system improved greatly the reliable extraction of fired cartridges.
Our New Spring Openers employs the exact same lock design, action and ejector mechanism as it did in 1909.
