*New Event for 2021* 

We are delighted to announce we will be running the AGL Pairs Challenge from Tuesday 1st June to Tuesday 31st August 2021. 

The challenge will consist of 100 targets, including 4 sequences. 

The challenge is to be shot in pairs; 

Senior Pair

Junior Pair 

Mixed* Pair

You must pre-book a date to shoot, please call reception to book a slot 01582 849382. 

You will be caddied around the course and cartridges are included in the entry fee. 

Prizes will be given in the categories depending on entries. 

*Mixed Pair being one adult and one junior

Rules and Terms & Conditions

The Atkin Grant & Lang Pairs Challenge is not CPSA registered. It will be shot under the rules of Atkin Grant & Lang Shooting Ground. Competitors must wear ear defenders, safety glasses and hats whilst on the course.

The Challenge, (100 bird English Sporting course) must be shot with the cartridges we supply.

The challenge can be shot with any type/gauge of shotgun.

The challenge will be split into three categories;

Adult Pair - Consisting of two adults

Junior Pair - Consisting of two juniors (under 18 on date of shooting)

Mixed Pair - Consisting of One Adult and One Junior

The course can be shot on any date between 1^st June to 31^st August. Pre booking is required.

Competitors may re-enter and shoot the course again.

Current members of Atkin Grant & Lang can shoot the competition under a reduced rate, in the case of a pair consisting of one member and one non-member the reduced rate will be offered.

In the case of a tie for first place the rule of add and divide will be used and the prizes will be split.

Prizes will be announced nearer the date.

Pre-booking is required to secure your place. we do hold the right to turn people away if they have not pre-booked. In the event of reaching full capacity for each day we do reserve the right to add extra days to the competition if necessary.

The organisers and landowners will not accept responsibility for the loss, damage or injury to persons, their property, vehicles or effects (including guns) while at the venue.
