Stephen Grant Round Action Over & Under

Setting new standards in British Gunmaking.

Designed, engineered and finished in England, our new Stephen Grant Round Action is totally honest to the history and heritage of Stephen Grant & Sons.

The beauty of a best gun

The beauitful lines and shape of the gun ensures it is instantly recognisable as a “Best London Gun”. Original features and styling have been taken from Stephen Grant & Sons designs of the past, with features such as the classic "Grant fluted fence".

The rounded low-profile action gives a beauitful, elegant look and feel not often found in Over and Unders.

The totally pinless sideplate allows the engraver full expression of their work. Each gun is hand engraved by time served artists to ensure that every gun is truly unique.

Modern techniques complementing traditional skills

The unique relationship between artisan craftsmen and the latest machining techniques has been harnessed resulting in ease and accuracy of production without compromising the handmade nature of the gun.

Made from high quality pre-hardened and tempered tool steels, and benefitting from a final low temperature nitriding treatment that increases the surface hardness and protects the parts from tarnishing or rusting.

The trigger plate action has been designed to exceed the reliability, strength, and robustness of the very best contemporary continental guns.

A totally unique and personal experience

Every order is truly bespoke to you as the client. With full access to all stages in the guns production buying a new Stephen Grant will be a totally unique and personal experience.

The close relationship between the craftsmen and customer is reflected in the final build of the gun itself.

The choice of barrel length and rib type, as well as a full gun fit to ensure the perfect stock measurements, gives you flexibility to create your own bespoke gun, perfectly tailored to meet your shooting requirements.

"It's a real shooter!"

Jonathan Young, Editor of The Field Magazine

"When shot it was noticeable that a 'shooting person' had somehow built a responsiveness into the gun that is so often lacking in guns today"

Peter Schwerdt, Game Shot

"Using the Grant was a gratifying experience. It mashed successive clay targets without excess effort. Little was missed."

Michael Yardley
