A Cotswold Covey...

Driven partridges in the heart of the Cotswolds on Saturday 28th September.

The 150 bird day will be located in West Oxfordshire, on the Little Barrington estate. There will be a total of 10 guns and there are currently 6 still available.

The day will be run in the traditional format, with breakfast on arrival and a chance to get to know your fellow guns. Once everyone has settled in and filled up on bacon rolls and coffee, you will head to the first drive. After two drives it is time to indulge in elevenses, served in the field. More shooting will follow with two or three more drives (depending on the bag) and then it’s lunch time, a hearty meal in the local picture-perfect pub.

The cost of this day is £640 inc. vat per gun including all hospitality.

Once again, these days will be held at Little Barrington. With thousands of acres of charming countryside to choose from, the drives and birds will make sure no two days are the same. The bag will be 150, a mixture of pheasant and partridge. The price for 5th October is £690 per gun and 2nd November is £720 per gun, both inclusive of vat.

The birds are challenging, the scenery is stunning and the food and drink is handed out liberally.
