The Atkin Grant & Lang simulated game days are some of the best in the country. With over 10 years’ experience running simulated days, Julian offers you the finest shooting balanced with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and luxurious hospitality… Everything but the birds!

Our chosen estate is laid out over charming Cotswold countryside and offers 15 dedicated simulated drives. The backdrop to your day will be rolling hills and meadows combined with thickets and woodland… classic Cotswold topography that offers both challenging targets and beautiful scenery. With over 5000 clays being thrown simulating driven pheasant and partridge, this is an exciting, fast paced shooting challenge for the adrenaline junkies of the clay pigeon shooting world.

Your day will include breakfast on arrival at The Fire House and a chance to meet the rest of the guns. Once you have settled in and indulged in a hearty breakfast it will be time to head to the first drive. After drive number two, traditional elevenses will be served in the field. Two more thrilling drives will follow and then you will head back to The Fire House for a delicious and well-deserved lunch.

Benefits of a Simulated Game Day

  • Value for money - Simulated game days are fantastic value for money in comparison to driven game shooting. You can still enjoy the excitement, camaraderie and hospitality but at a fraction of the price
  • An introduction to game shooting - Sim days are a great place to start if you are looking to try game shooting. The layout, environment and etiquette of the day is very similar but there is no pressure to shoot your share of the bag
  • Keep your eye in - If you are an experienced shot then simulated days are a great way to keep your eye in and your shooting at top performance throughout the summer months
  • Meet new people - Simulated shoots are incredibly social and are a great way to meet new people from a range of different backgrounds all with a common interest in shooting
