Event Details
British Side By Side Championship and Festival of Gunmaking
We are thrilled to announce the date of this years British Side By Side Championship and Festival of Gunmaking - Saturday 25th August
The Championship will consist of a 120 bird English sporting layout specifically designed for Side By Sides including a grouse and a high pheasant sequence.
Classes and prizes available for all calibres of breech loading gun.
Prizes:
British Side By Side Champion: 1000 Lyalvale Express cartridges
Runner Up (British Made): 500 Lyalvale Express cartridges
Imported High Gun: 250 Lyalvale Express cartridges
High Gun in gauge (British Made) (12g, 16g, 20g, 28g, .410g) 250 Lyalvale Express Cartridges
Ladies: 250 Lyalvale Express cartridges
Juniors (Under 21 years old): 250 Lyalvale Express cartridges
A BBQ / buffet lunch will be served to all competitors around midday.
The Festival of Gunmaking
After the sucess of last years event, we are excited to welcome back the finest gunmakers in the world to exhibit their guns and once again offer an opportunity to meet the craftsmen involved and celebrate the true art of gunmaking.
Not only will you be able to see and handle a full range of guns but have the chance to shoot a selection of demonstration guns available on the day.
No booking required or admission fees for the festival. Entry from 9am until the Championship prize giving at 5pm.
