More details -
The 100 bird registered course and the 20 bird sporting challenge will be shot under CPSA rules.
The 100 bird course can be shot with any clay cartridge with a maximum shot size of 6.5, plastic or fibre wad.
The 20 bird sporting challenge must be shot with Lyalvale Express cartridges only, which will be provided on the stands.
Overall High Gun is not eligible to win their class or category. In the case of a tie for High Gun count back will be used based on the 100 bird course starting on the final targets on Stand 12. If there is still a tie after this, the prize will be divided between competitors.
In the case of a tie for class or category, prizes are established by add and divide. You can win and place in both class and category. Ladies under the age of 21 are eligible to win both Ladies category and Junior/Colts depending on their age.
Based on CPSA categories, anyone between the ages of 16 and 20 are eligible for juniors and anyone under 16 years old is eligible for Colts.
This event is squadded in groups of 6 shooters per squad. Pre-booking and payment in advanced is required to secure your place. Entries on the day may be taken if the places on that day are not filled, we do hold the right to turn people away if they have not pre-booked. In the event of reaching full capacity for each day we do reserve the right to add extra days to the competition if necessary.
There will be an allocated jury each day. If there are any disputes regarding scores / missed targets, the issue must be raised whilst on the stand and the head referee and jury will be called.
The organisers and landowners will not accept responsibility for the loss, damage or injury to persons, their property, vehicles or effects (including guns) while at the venue.
