From Field to Fork Game Prep

From Field to Fork Game Prep

SAVE THE DATE - Saturday 28th December

Back by popular demand, our Field to Fork game preparation demo is one of the most important events of the season.

Here at Atkin Grant & Lang the team is made up of shooting, hunting and countryside enthusiasts. It is because of this passion, and love for our sport and our lifestyles that we want to help promote ethical and sustainable field sports, and make sure that attitudes to country pursuits are always positive. Having knowledge and respect for your quarry is imperative to becoming a responsible shooter, and part of this is knowing how to prepare and cook game meat.

At our Field to Fork events we show guests how to pluck and breast a range of game birds, from pigeons to ducks, partridges to pheasants. Last year we had the addition of venison, and demonstrated how to gralloch and butcher a roe deer carcass.

Game meat is highly nutritious and makes a fantastic alternative to shop bought meat. It is often higher in protein and lower in fat, and you are safe in the knowledge that the animal has led a completely natural, free range life.

The point of these demonstrations is to arm our customers with the confidence and education to use and enjoy the game that they shoot. Whether you’re new to shooting or a seasoned gun, this complimentary event may just offer you some top tips to take home.

We are confirming the final details of this year’s demo, and will release more information shortly.

But please save the date, as this is an event not to be missed!

If you have any questions or would like to book a place, please contact the team on the details below.

Guests that RSVP will be given a brace of pheasants or partridges to take home.
